Hormone-induced-late-night-writing last night. I bled, cried, vomited ink. Some people are new to the blog since last time i posted a freewrite. Freewrite is brainspeak without edit. I just write until i fill up one or two pages. It doesn't have to be pertinent to how i'm feeling or make sense. It just happens.
Poem: Lust. Switch and pump twist around take emotion to the ground see what hell you are in? take your claws out from your skin. Young heathen, take thine bed away burn it for a brighter day smell the dirt upon your hands turn your face down in the sands walk along the wicked turn join your people don't get burned thou shalt not love self no repent no single, bleeding sacrement. As long as you are womanchild your lusts must rest here. Tender. Mild. Unspoken.
Freewrite:Where are they? Haha keep depression away from me children..no..mom, you can put off me seeing someone..ok..I see how it pains you that I'm talking about you behind your back..I know you are doing the same thing oh keep them away from me let them burn I don't know who they are but I will crush them in my claws..these demons that make me want things I can't have and give me things I don't deserve ooo they shall pay in tears..want to meet one..see it cry...take it apart in my mind..when will someone else feel the pain..everyone is happy again, I see..ahahaha oo cut deep in my stomach so far but tommorow I won't feel this way. If drugs throw people off balance maybe they will make me normal tears of ink flow but insane smiles linger on my face..who knows..who cares.. "Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in theire shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you are a mile away and you have their shoes."-Frieda Norris.

Interesting day. I'm learning a lot of french and french culture. I've learned more in the past few days than in the last 10 years of my life (I took lessons when I was 4-7). School. Boring for Isabelle and me at times. She got to see us with our bacteria cultures in biology. My samples were a bit small, but there. My lab partner's was nasty. He swabbed jim maxi. Go figure. I swabbed my eye and zucker's phone. Zucker's phone had more bacteria. She hung out w/ jake's exchange student for most of the time (Il s'apelle Axel). French. Interesting. Ms. Mishel asked them if they had any american stereotypes. They said we eat badly. We told them that wasn't a stereotype. It just happens. History=zzzz Study Hall=zzzzzzzzz> Lunch-funny. Quote it at the end. Study Hall=Wolfy's study hall! I talk to her through the whole thing. I had to grab the bird cage outta her room leftover from the dead parrot sketch. Math=ZZZZZZZZZ!!!! English=Worked on odyssey project. Made fun of boon. Laura Seholtzer and Jess Willingham talked to Isabelle. My entire group for the Odyssey project takes french. Yay! Home. Isabelle un peu homesick. She emailed her parents and read some emails from them. We had a bit of a mess w/ the international calling. We ended up working it ok. She was crying a bit when she called them :-( pauvre Isabelle! We watched another pink panther movie. I fell asleep. Then we ate dinner (spaghetti! go mom again!, she hasn't cooked this much..since..she never cooks this much...). We invited Dan Wood and his exchange student (Mathieu) over. We went to target. We were looking at CD's and video games and toys. Here's some stuff they have in france: The Sims, Dora The Explorer, Weezer (???), Zelda, Grand Theft Auto, and Isabelle likes Pink Floyd! :D go team her! No Spongebob. I need to find a tape of spongebob. Now the cool and amazing part. The candy isle. Me and Dan Wood had a field day figuring out what they have and don't have in france. Here's some things they have: Tic tacs, pop rocks, ring pops, gummies. Heres some things they don't have: Twizzlers, Licorice, Starbursts, Swedish fish, Milk Duds. Whoaa Nelly. We bought a bunch of American candy. Isabelle said "I love America!!" after eating a Starburst. Woot! Milk Duds are pretty good too. We watched Monty Python and the holy grail in french at my house! Haha they thought it was funni. The part with the french taunting got an interesting reaction. Isabelle was like "heyy.." but she was joking. I think. I said sorrry like eight times. Then I said it was Britains fault, we didn't make this movie. She laughed. She keeps saying "Ni" now. I showed her Homestarrunner on Saturday. She thought that was funni. I am the Ambassador of such great american obsessions like Spongebob, Twizzlers, and Starbursts! GO AMERICA SOMETIMES! "Les correspondants Mexique pour l'anee passe, tres dingue."-Me at lunch. Rough traduction-The Mexican exchange students last year were very crazy.

I've been thinking a lot about conversation and giving advice lately. It kind of started with a movie. Downtown 81. Interesting movie. Jean Michel Basquait (graffiti artist) starred in it when he was 19. It's kind of an art movie about new york in the 80's. One of the things he talked about in the movie was how he thought women always said the right things to him. He said "You know, when you talk to guys about your problems, they'll say "you know, the same thing happened to me". But some women always know when to say something and what kind of advice to give you" Then I was reading different people's blog comments and entries and I thought about the different kinds of advice people give and get through them. And how some people have trouble knowing what to say. I have trouble knowing what to say a lot. There are times when I want to be serious and taken seriously and I really can't. Having a serious conversation can be very difficult for me. I want to be able to help people out really, but I'm not a very good advice giver. Going back to Jean-Michel's quote, i think i'm more like a guy in his mindset. I generally talk to guys like i was another guy. Thats just how I developed somehow. As one of the guys. Some people like Almeda and Katie seem to always know what to say. Probably the best example is Ru's blog. I want to be able to give advice or counter thoughts and have it mean something. I know the answer is in my head but It won't make it to the keyboard. I have thoughts and opinions on everything, but they are feelings, not words. Sometimes when people talk about pain and suffering and depression, i feel unable to give advice because I think I would have used it myself if I had any. I don't know. Je ne sais pas. Sleepy. Orthodontist. Isabelles in Philly w/ other exchange students. Il fait neige. Je deteste le neige dans le printemps. I don't feel like translating that. Feel free to babelfish it. "Awww he was so cute! What happened?"-I saw shane eyeler's third grade photo today.

Isabelle is great! Many interesting moments today. I'll start with the one that had nothing to do with today. I found out that ductape clears your pores like those biore strips do for like one millionth of the price. 4$ for five strips as opposed to 2.99$ for a roll. So I woke up and mom made pancakes for breaky (wow! go mom!). Miracles do happen. Anyway, then me and Isabelle watched "The Pink Panther Strikes Again" using the magic of dvd french dubbing and english subtitles. Technology has it's day. Woot. Then me and Isabelle hung around the house for a few heures (hours). We looked at my magazines. Apparently Eminem is popular in france *shrug*. She taught me how to use the funky french pen she bought me. It's one of those cool pointy metal ones. The other pens she bought me have scented ink! I'm gonna get arrested for inhaling pen gel. We had grilled cheese sandwiches for lunch. Then we were playing with dad's music stuff downstairs and emailed her parents. I had to help her w/ that. Apparently keyboards are different in france. By the way walter made an interesting second impression (beyond "hey i'm walter) by running in while we were watching the pink panther with fistfuls of cash from the punk show and wiping his face on it. The hockey game was funny. Phantoms lost. Some guy got caught in a goal and slid halfway across the ice. Still in the goal. I had to explain a zamboni in french. I can't even really do that in english! I think i got as far as "they are washing the ice". They also gave us free phantoms washcloths to wave around. Wtf? i guess I don't go to enough hockey games. This actually brings my grand total up to 2. So in france they have Pizza Hut and McDonalds. They had to pick my two least favorites! I can deal w/ both, but je prefere Taco Bell and Wendy's above all because theres those cute little "vegetable" things and that nouveau concept of real meat and cheese. Most of the time. Burger King and KFC are okay when I'm in the mood. Chinese, Japanese, and above all indian food rock my socks. The language barrier exists between me and Isabelle, but it will get better as she learns more english and I more french. "euhh..Ils est..lave..le glace..avec..machine thingies"-My pathetic attempt in the wisdom of zambonis.
